Meet Your Division Leader
Govindi Singh
Bronx Division Director
Dr. Govindi Singh is a dedicated social work professional with a strong academic background and a deep commitment to community impact.
She began her journey at LaGuardia Community College, earning her Associate of Science in 1999, followed by a Bachelor of Science from Stony Brook University.
She went on to complete her Master’s in Social Work at Yeshiva University, where her thesis focused on PTSD in adolescents and adults—further strengthening her passion for mental health and social justice.
In 2024, Dr. Singh began her doctoral studies in Social Work/Social Welfare at Yeshiva University, continuing her mission to advance the field and advocate for vulnerable communities.
