Meet Your Division Leader
Gina Corona
Central Division Director
Gina M. Corona, LCSW-R, is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 25 years of post-master’s experience working with children facing mental health challenges and their families.
A 1995 graduate of Syracuse University, Ms. Corona has spent most of her career in Central New York. She is an outspoken advocate for quality care delivery and legislative reforms to address budget shortfalls that impact essential services and programs.
For the past 17 years, she has served as a Clinical Social Worker in both inpatient and outpatient settings at a state-operated mental health clinic. Her work often involves supporting families in crisis and connecting them to necessary services for both safety and everyday life stability.
Beyond her clinical role, Ms. Corona also serves as the Regional Coordinator for the Public Employees Federation’s Region 4, representing six counties: Cayuga, Cortland, Jefferson, Onondaga, Oswego, and Seneca. In this elected leadership position, she also serves on the Executive Board and chairs the Political Action Committee for the region, among other responsibilities.
She currently lives in Syracuse, NY with her family.
