About This Event

NASW NY CARES, in collaboration with the North East Division and the NASW-NY Policy team, invites social workers in the Capital Region to a listening session in Washington Park. We want to hear which issues are most affecting your work.

NASW-NY advances policies that strengthen the social work profession, support social workers, and improve the wellbeing of individuals, families, and communities throughout New York.

The goal of this in-person get-together is to inform NASW-NY’s advocacy as we prepare for the 2027 legislative session. The people doing the work know best where systems fall short and leave clients without the support they need. We cannot do this work alone. Join the movement and enjoy a nice day in the park.
