NY State Dwyer Coalition's Veteran Suicide Intervention Conference

Workshop Description
Note: Due to limited capacity, individuals who register are expected to attend. Please register only if you are able to commit to participating.
NY State Dwyer Coalition's Veteran Suicide Intervention Conference is a one-day, in-person event dedicated to addressing veteran suicide through cross-industry education, collaboration, and community-based prevention. Attendance is free and open to the public on a first-come, first-served basis, with registration capped at approximately 215 participants.
Social workers, LMFTs, LMHCs, and Licensed Psychologists may earn up to four (4) free CEs. Pending CLE certification: Attorneys may earn up to 3.5 free CLEs.
Participants who stay the full day (8:00 AM–5:00 PM ET) may request a digital Certificate of Attendance (COA). Resource tables highlighting veteran-serving organizations will be available throughout the day. A complimentary lunch will be provided by Fordham University Ram Vets and the Fordham Veteran Center.
Important Notes & Disclaimers
- This is an in-person event only with limited seating. Registration is first-come, first-served.
- CE sessions will be held from 8:40 AM–10:40 AM and 2:35 PM–4:35 PM. Participants may attend one session to earn 2.0 CEs or both sessions to earn the full 4.0 CEs.
- Attendees must sign in and out for each session via QR code and/or hard copy sign-in.
- Participants attending the full conference day (8:00 AM–5:00 PM) may request a Certificate of Attendance.
- This conference centers on veteran cultural competency. Strong and unfiltered language may be used as part of authentic lived experience. Panelist perspectives do not necessarily reflect the views of NASW-NY, the Feerick Center, Fordham University, or affiliated sponsors.
