Join us for a special meeting of the NASW-NY Seasoned and Retired Social Workers Peer Support Group, presented as part of the NASW-NY C.A.R.E.S. Community Engagement Initiative's Fall 2026 Senior Series.

Established before NASW-NY's unification, the group has historically met mainly in the greater New York City area. This special meeting is an opportunity to broaden awareness of the group and build connections among seasoned and retired social workers across New York State, including the five boroughs.

Whether you are a current member, a former member, or a social worker interested in learning more, we invite you to join us for a virtual gathering focused on connection, community, and peer support.

What to expect

  • Learn about the history, purpose, and activities of the Seasoned and Retired Social Workers Peer Support Group
  • Meet and connect with fellow seasoned and retired social workers from across New York State
  • Share experiences, perspectives, and ideas for strengthening peer connections
  • Explore ways to participate and get involved

Come reconnect, meet new colleagues, and help us strengthen a community of social workers whose experience and wisdom continue to enrich the profession.
