Advertising Program Update

Advertising placements were temporarily paused beginning July 7, 2025 as part of the NASW-NY chapter unification process.

Planning resumed in summer 2026, and NASW-NY is working toward relaunching statewide advertising opportunities and virtual job fairs. Available formats, placement options, rates, and submission procedures may differ from those previously offered.

Updated opportunities, pricing, and submission guidelines will be posted here once the program is ready to reopen.

Advertising Policies

Review these policies before planning a future placement.

Acceptable Advertising

NASW-NY may accept advertising related to non-continuing-education professional development, workshops, conferences, classes, employment, publications, social-work-related products and services, organizational services, referrals, consultation by appropriately licensed social workers, and study groups.

NASW-NY cannot advertise continuing education programs that are not offered under its provider identification.

Review, Approval, and Non-Endorsement

All advertising copy is subject to approval. NASW-NY reserves the right to reject an advertisement and is not responsible for claims made in submitted advertising.

Publication of an advertisement does not constitute endorsement of the advertiser, service, product, publication, viewpoint, or standard of service.

Advertisers must affirm that they are equal opportunity employers.

Salary Transparency

Employers advertising jobs covered by New York City salary-transparency requirements must include a good-faith salary range for each covered job, promotion, or transfer opportunity.

Placement, Changes, and Response Tracking

Processing time, accepted payment methods, change deadlines, and placement procedures will be published when advertising services resume.

NASW-NY does not track or guarantee response rates for advertising placements.

Refunds

Updated refund rules and request procedures will be published when the advertising program relaunches. Any approved refund policy will apply only to the advertising options then available.
