The Office of Ethics and Professional Review provides individual ethics consultations as a benefit of NASW membership. These consultations are a free resource for members who encounter ethical dilemmas or have ethics-related questions.

Consultation services are designed to guide members through the relevant standards in the NASW Code of Ethics, as well as other considerations and resources to support ethical decision-making. While we can help you explore the ethical dimensions of an issue, we cannot make decisions on your behalf or provide definitive answers for specific situations.

Calls are answered on a first-come, first-served basis and are not pre-scheduled. If you reach voicemail, please leave a clear message with your name and number — we will return your call as soon as possible.

Due to high call volume, please allow up to 24 hours for a return call.

Phone: 1-800-742-4089
